چکیده
Peutz–Jeghers syndrome (PJS) is a rare genetic disorder characterized by multiple gastrointestinal polyps and mucocutaneous pigmentation. Abnormal pigmentation typically develops in infancy or childhood. As PJS-related facial can lead to psychological burden due its effects on esthetics, treatment required. Herein, we report the efficacy safety of lip mucosal using Q-switched 755 nm Alexandrite Laser children with PJS, aged 2–12 years age. A topical anesthetic was used prior application laser therapy. 100% achieved one three treatments, an excellent outcome five cases (62.5%) good (37.5%). Recurrent observed case over 6-month follow-up period. There were no adverse effects, such as scarring hyperpigmentation hypopigmentation. The did cause pain, apprehension, crying some children, requiring special attention. Although our sample size small, findings do provide support high for PJS. Further studies are required confirm these findings.

The use of high-power diode laser with a wavelength of 755 nm is an effective and safe method for the correction and partial and/or total elimination of pigmented lesions, specifically solar lentigines. This wavelength has yet not been used in diode lasers to treat solar lentigines. Side effects are the usual ones, including darkening and scab formation. Our patient was a 40-year-old woman of C...
متن کاملComparison of 585 nm with 595 nm pulsed dye laser in the treatment of warts
Background and aim : The clinical management of verrucae vulgaris is often challenging and no treatment is always effective. Early studies have suggested that pulsed-dye laser (PDL) may be highly effective in the treatment of verrucae through obliteration of dilated vessels in papillary dermis. The objective of this study was to compare safety and efficacy of 585 nm with 595 nm PDL in the...

متن کاملTreatment of exogenous ochronosis with a Q-switched alexandrite (755 nm) laser.
BACKGROUND Exogenous ochronosis is a cutaneous disorder characterized by blue-black or slate-gray hyperpigmentation resulting from the prolonged use of certain topical agents, most commonly hydroquinones. It is notoriously difficult to treat. OBJECTIVE To report the effectiveness of a quality-switched (QS) 755-nm alexandrite laser in treating hydroquinone-induced exogenous ochronosis. METHO...
